Printed in Scotland

To me, it just makes sense.

My father was a printer and my grandfather too. I grew up familiar with the smell of printing ink.

The company my dad worked for (a family business for many years) was bought over by a big corporation. All of the profitable bits were kept and those which didn’t make money were stripped of their assets and sold off. Production was outsourced to eastern Europe & Asia and he lost his job.

I could have my cards, books and postcards printed elsewhere and I’d probably save some money.

I might be able to pass these savings on to my customers.

But I don't think there'd be much point if my fellow countrymen ended up out of work and their skills were lost. I also like to know that my suppliers take their environmental responsibilities seriously and treat their workers fairly.
